SPECIAL MEETING OF THE SHORELINE REGIONAL PARK COMMUNITY
6:30 P.M.-SPECIAL SESSION (HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS)
1. CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLELGIANCE
President Showalter called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Students from Huff Elementary School led the Pledge of Allegiance.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: 7 - Boardmember McAlister, President Showalter, Boardmember Clark, Boardmember
Inks, Boardmember Kasperzak, Vice President Rosenberg, and Boardmember Siegel
3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS
Jim Neal expressed concerns with the Transportation Management Association shuttles utilizing his
street at unsafe speeds, and he recommended that the shuttles stay on the assigned routes.
Celeste Temple expressed concerns with Google Shuttles utilizing residential streets.
4. NEW BUSINESS
4.1 Agreements with the Mountain View Whisman School District for
Modifications to Crittenden Middle School Athletic Fields and Design and
Construction of Permanente Creek Trail from Rock Street to West Middlefield
Road.
Principal Civil Engineer Au presented an oral staff report and she, Mountain View Whisman School
District Superintendent Dr. Ayindé Rudolph, City Attorney Quinn and Public Works Director
Fuller, responded to the Board's questions.

MOTION - M/S Kasperzak/McAlister - To:
1. Transfer and appropriate an additional $187,500 from the Shoreline
Regional Park Community Fund and $187,500 from the Park Land
Dedication Fund to Permanente Creek Trail-Rock Street to West
Middlefield Road, Construction, Project 16-47, for additional construction
costs of $375,000. (Five votes required)
The motion carried unanimously.
President Showalter left the meeting at 9:00 p.m.
5. ADJOURNMENT - At 9:30 p.m., Vice President Rosenberg adjourned the meeting.

4.1 Agreements with the Mountain View Whisman School District for Modifications to

Recommendation(s): 1. Authorize the City Manager to execute a Cost-Sharing Agreement with
the Mountain View Whisman School District for improvements to the
Crittenden Middle School Athletic Fields.
2. Authorize the City Manager to execute an Easement and Agreement
with the Mountain View Whisman School District for the design and
construction of the Permanente Creek Trail extension from Rock Street to
West Middlefield Road.
3. Transfer and appropriate an additional $187,500 from the Shoreline
Regional Park Community Fund and $187,500 from the Park Land
Dedication Fund to Permanente Creek Trail-Rock Street to West
Middlefield Road, Construction, Project 16-47, for additional
construction costs of $375,000. (Five votes required)
