At 5:00 p.m., an announcement was made by Counsel Quinn, who described the item that the Board
would consider on the Closed Session Agenda below.

2.1 Conference with Real Property Negotiator (§54956.8)—Property: Shoreline Amphitheatre, 1
Ampitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA, APN 116-20-043, and Charleston East, APN
116-21-050 and APN 116-21-051; Agency Negotiators: Dennis Drennan, Real Property Program
Administrator, and Randy Tsuda, Community Development Director; Negotiating Party: City of
Mountain View; Under Negotiation: Price and terms of lease payment
Seeing no one wishing to speak, President Showalter closed the public comment period and called
the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. All Boardmembers were present.
The Closed Session concluded at 5:32 p.m.

3. STUDY SESSION
3.1 Preliminary Review of the Fiscal Year 2016-17 Capital Improvement Program.
Public Works Director Fuller presented an oral staff report and he, Community Manager Rich,
Counsel Quinn and Community Services Director de la Montaigne, responded to the Board's
questions.
President Showalter recused herself from participating on the presentation and discussions of the
Charleston Road Improvements, Stevens Creek Trail Bridge and Charleston Slough Improvements,
and left the meeting.
Boardmember Inks recused himself from participating on the presentation and discussion of
Mora/Ortega Park Design and Construction, and left the meeting.
Boardmember McAlister recused himself from participating on the presentation and discussion of
the Community Garden at Shoreline and Latham, and left the meeting.

President Showalter called the meeting to order at 6:44 p.m., and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS
Don Letcher expressed concerns with commercial buildings adjacent to Rengstorff Park. Mr.
Letcher also expressed concerns with any consideration of closing Castro Street at the transit center.

4.1 2000 North Shoreline Boulevard (Charleston East).
Senior Planner Williams and Google Architect Michelle Kaufmann presented oral reports and they,
and Community Manager Rich, Google Real Estate Director John Igoe, Google Transportation
Program Manager Jeral Poskey, HT Harvey & Associates Vice Presidents Scott Terrill and Dan
Stephens, and several unidentified persons, responded to the Board's questions.

CIP, which will be presented to the Council at a Study Session in May.
