CALL TO ORDER President Siegel called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. 3. ROLL CALL Present: 7 - Boardmember Abe-Koga, Boardmember Clark, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Rosenberg, Boardmember Showalter, Vice President Matichak, and President Siegel 4. CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION - MS - Abe-Koga/Rosenberg - To approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Boardmember Abe-Koga, Boardmember Clark, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Rosenberg, Boardmember Showalter, Vice President Matichak, and President Siegel 4.1 Approval of Minutes That Shoreline Regional Park Community Boardmembers approve the following minutes: 1. November 28, 2017 Shoreline Regional Park Community meeting; 2. December 5, 2017 Shoreline Regional Park Community meeting; and 3. December 12, 2017 Shoreline Regional Park Community meeting. 5. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS City of Mountain View Page 1 City Council MEETING MINUTES 1/30/2018 Barbara Davis expressed concerns that the Rental Housing Committee (RHC) rejected their Counsel's opinion and determination regarding mobile homes being included under the Community Stabilization and Fair Rent Act. Bee Hanson expressed concerns regarding submitting petitions to the RHC for fear of landlord retaliation. IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE SPECIAL SESSION-CLOSED SESSION (HELD IN THE PLAZA CONFERENCE ROOM) 9. CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT (OPEN SESSION) At 8:25 p.m., an announcement was made by Counsel Quinn, who described the item that the Board would consider on the Closed Session Agenda below. 10. CLOSED SESSION 10.2 Conference with Real Property Negotiator (§54956.8)—Property: 1600 N. Shoreline Boulevard, APN 116-10-070; 1616 N. Shoreline Boulevard, APN 116-10-086; 1674 N. Shoreline Boulevard (portion), APN 116-10-085; 1674 Joaquin Road (portion), APN 116-10-097); and the south half of Plymouth Street and sidewalk in front of 1431 Plymouth Street (City-owned property)—Agency Negotiator: Dennis Drennan, Real Property Program Administrator—Negotiating Party: Google LLC—Under Negotiation: Price and Terms of Payment for the Acquisition of Real Property Seeing no one wishing to speak, President Siegel closed the meeting to the public and called the meeting to order at 8:25 p.m. All Boardmembers were present. The Closed Session concluded at 8:50 p.m. 12. ADJOURNMENT - At 8:51 p.m., President Siegel adjourned the meeting.
