SPECIAL MEETING OF THE SHORELINE REGIONAL PARK COMMUNITY
1. CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
President Siegel called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: 7 - Boardmember Abe-Koga, Boardmember Clark, Boardmember McAlister,
Boardmember Rosenberg, Boardmember Showalter, Vice President Matichak, and President
Siegel
3. CONSENT CALENDAR
MOTION - MS - Abe-Koga/Showalter - To approve the Consent Calendar.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Yes: 7 - Boardmember Abe-Koga, Boardmember Clark, Boardmember McAlister,
Boardmember Rosenberg, Boardmember Showalter, Vice President Matichak, and President
Siegel
3.1 Co-sponsorship of Shoreline Amphitheatre Fourth of July Event.
Approve the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Commission to authorize the City
Manager to enter into a multi-year agreement between the City of Mountain View and Live
Nation to continue the City’s co-sponsorship of Shoreline Amphitheatre’s Fourth of July
Symphony and Fireworks Display through 2025.
4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS
Bee Hanson expressed concerns regarding information provided by signature gatherers
circulating an initiative petition.
Manita Bobba spoke regarding the Vote 16 initiative.

Kelly Campa spoke regarding the Vote 16 initiative.
Reva Panda spoke regarding the Vote 16 initiative.
Ella Milliken spoke regarding the Vote 16 initiative and requested a future agenda item for
discussion.
Joan MacDonald expressed concerns regarding information provided by signature gatherers
circulating an initiative petition and announced the availability of petition signature withdrawal
request forms.
5. ADJOURNMENT - At 10:58 p.m., President Siegel adjourned the meeting.
