1. CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
At 6:31 p.m.,President Matichak called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of
Allegiance.

4. CONSENT CALENDAR
The following members of the public spoke:
Alex Brown from Mountain View provided comments on Item 4.9.
Albert Jeans from Mountain View requested Item 4.9 be pulled for individual consideration,
provided comments on the item and displayed written materials.
Joel Dean from Mountain View provided comments on Item 4.9.
The Board directed questions to Public Works Director Mike Fuller.
MOTION - M/S - Ramirez/Clark - To approve the Consent Calendar.

19-59-Professional Services Agreement

Authorize the City Manager to amend a professional services agreement with AECOM of
San Jose to prepare final plans, specifications, and estimates and bid documents and limited
services during bidding and construction for the Northbound Shoreline Boulevard/101
Off-Ramp Realignment Design, Project 19-59, in the amount of $1,865,000.
5. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS
Kristen Anderson from Mountain View provided comments regarding the North Bayshore
area and submitted written materials.
Dave Arnone from Mountain View provided comments regarding the proposed ban on
oversized vehicle.
7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
7.1 Automated Guideway Transit Phase 2 Feasibility Study
Project Manager Jim Lightbody with Lightbody Consulting presented the item. Assistant
Public Works Director Dawn Cameron was available for questions.
The Board directed questions to City staff and Jim Lightbody.

MOTION - MS - McAlister/Clark - To:
1. Approve the scope of work for the Automated Guideway Transit Phase 2 Feasibility
Study.
2. Authorize the City Manager to execute agreements with the Mountain View
Transportation Management Association and Google to provide funding for the Automated
Guideway Transit Phase 2 Feasibility Study.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Yes: 4 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Hicks, Boardmember Kamei, Boardmember
McAlister
No: 3 - Boardmember Ramirez, Vice President Abe-Koga, President Matichak
12. ADJOURNMENT
At 11:31 p.m., President Matichak stated the meeting would be adjourned in memory of the
victims of the May 31, 2019 mass shooting in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
