President Matichak called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

Present: 7 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Hicks, Boardmember Kamei, Boardmember
McAlister, Boardmember Ramirez, Vice President Abe-Koga, President Matichak
4. CONSENT CALENDAR
Boardmember Hicks requested to record a No vote on the second ordinance in Item 4.2.
Boardmember Ramirez requested to record a No vote on the second ordinance in Item 4.2.
Boardmember Clark requested to record a No vote on the second ordinance in Item 4.2.
The following members of the public provided comments on the Consent Calendar:
Lenny Siegel spoke in opposition to Items 4.2 and 4.3.
Robert Pollack spoke regarding Item 4.2.
Joan MacDonald, on behalf of Advocates for Affordable Housing and the League of Women
Voters, spoke in opposition to Item 4.2.
Alex Brown, Santiago Villa, provided comments on Item 4.2.
Valerie Fenwick, Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee member speaking for herself, spoke in
opposition to Item 4.2.
Celenna Navarro and Maria Ventura spoke in opposition to Item 4.2.

Job Lopez spoke in opposition to Item 4.2.

4.3.
Unidentified woman spoke in opposition to Item 4.3.
MOTION - M/S - Abe-Koga/Matichak - To approve the Consent Calendar.
Secretary Lisa Natusch confirmed that dissenting votes would be recorded for the second
ordinance in Item 4.2 for Boardmember Hicks, Boardmember Ramirez and Boardmember Clark
per the earlier requests to do so.

4.2 Adopt Two Ordinances Related to Regulating Parking of Oversized Vehicles (Second
Reading)

Adopt Ordinance No. 14.19 Amending Articles I and VIII of Chapter 19 of the Mountain View
City Code Related to Oversized Vehicle Parking on Certain Streets Adjacent to Class II Bikeways,
read in title only, further reading waived.
The motion carried by the following vote:

5. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS
Albert Jeans provided comments regarding traffic and displayed videos.
Kat Wortham, Silicon Valley Leadership Group, announced an upcoming Turkey Trot event and
provided written materials.
Boardmember McAlister announced an upcoming Turkey Trot event at Mountain View High
School.
10. ADJOURNMENT - At 11:07 p.m., President Matichak adjourned the meeting.
