All members of the Human Relations Commission will participate in the meeting by video conference, with no physical meeting location. MINUTES APPROVAL 3.1 Minutes approval for April, 1, 2021 Recommendation: Minutes for the April 1, 2021, regular meeting have been delivered to the Commissioners and a copy posted to the City Hall bulletin board. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Commission on any matter not on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes. State law prohibits the Commission from acting on non-agenda items. 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS None. 6. NEW BUSINESS 6.1 Multicultural Engagement Program (MEP) Update Recommendation: The Commission will receive an informational update from the Multicultural Engagement Program (MEP). No action will be taken on this item. 6.2 Development of the HRC Work Plan for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 Recommendation: Staff will provide a work plan update for the Commission discussion and consideration of potential projects for fiscal year 2021-22. For any agenda item or for Oral Communications on nonagenda items, if there appears to be a large number of speakers, the Chair may reduce speaking time to no less than 1.5 minutes per speaker unless there is an objection from the Commission by majority vote. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.3(b)(1), at least twice the allotted speaking time will be provided to a member of the public who utilizes a translator.
