NEW BUSINESS 5.1 Community Services Department Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2018-19 Recommendation: Review and provide input on the Community Service Department’s proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2018-19. Provide a recommendation to the City Council to increase the commitment of Park Land Dedication In-Lieu Fees and investment earnings in the amount of $1,532,000 (Fiscal Year 2016-17 Interest Earnings, Fiscal Year 2017-18 Interest Earnings, Park Land Dedication In-Lieu Fees received from December 2016 to April 2018, and a refund from the Chlorination System Project) to four existing Capital Improvement Projects as shown in Attachment 1. 2. Provide a recommendation to the City Council to commit $24,119,000 from the Park Land Dedication Fund (Fiscal Year 2017-18 Interest Earnings and Park Land Dedication In-Lieu Fees from April Attachments: Memo Recommended PLD Fund Committements Park Land Funds and Future Projects Summary Other CSD CIPs 6.
