Board Work Plan
Assistant Community Services Director Kristine Crosby provided a presentation and answered staff's
questions.

item to include any and all pollinator habitats within the City and report on various community driven
pollinator enhancements.

with direction to staff to look at off site property alternatives and opportunities to utilize currently paved areas
within Cuesta Park, reconfiguration of site A, and an absolute moratorium on taking out the large stone pine
in Site A.

6. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 Fiscal Year 2024-25 Parks and Recreation Commission and Urban Forestry Board Work Plan
Recommendation:
Review and approve the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Parks and Recreation Commission and
Urban Forestry Board Work Plan to be forwarded to the City Council for approval
(Attachment 1 to the memorandum).

Recommendation:
Review and comment on the Draft Pickleball Court Preliminary Study Findings and
recommend a preferred site location and number of dedicated pickleball courts for
approval to the City Council.

Interested persons are entitled to speak on any item on the agenda and should make their interest known to the Chair.
Anyone wishing to address the Commission on an item not on the agenda may do so during the "Oral Communications" part of the agenda.
Speakers are allowed to speak once on any number of topics for up to three minutes. For any agenda item or for Oral Communications on
nonagenda items, if there appears to be a large number of speakers, the Chair may reduce speaking time to no less than 1.5 minutes per speaker
unless there is an objection from the Commission by majority vote.
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.3(b)(1), at least twice the allotted speaking time will be provided to a member of the public who
utilizes a translator.
