1. CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chair Garcia called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m.

Minutes
M/S Donahue/Yao - Approved the December 4, 2024 minutes with minor clerical corrections.

Election of New Officers
M/S Donahue/Yao - The Committee nominated and elected Vice Chair Garcia as Chairperson.
Yes: 3 - Vice Chair Donahue, Committee Member Yao, and Chair Garcia
M/S - The Committee nominated and elected Committee Member Donahue as Vice Chair.
Yes: 3 - Vice Chair Donahue, Committee Member Yao, and Chair Garcia
Replacement of SecondStage Ad Hoc Committee Member
Vice Chair Donahue volunteered to replace former Chair McAlister in the SecondStage Fee Waiver Program
Ad hoc committee.

7. COMMITTEE/STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS, UPDATES, REQUESTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS
Performing Arts Manager Theresa Yvonne reported the Visual Arts Committee, Downtown Committee, and
the Performing Arts Committee staff liaison's met to discuss collaboration amongst the three committees.
Staff liaisons from each committee will present at each other's meetings, and ask for volunteers to form an
Ad hoc committee to discuss collaborations.
The following members of the public spoke from the floor virtually:

Chair Garcia adjourned the meeting at 7:46 p.m.

ADDRESSING THE COMMITTEE
Interested persons are entitled to speak on any item on the agenda and should make their interest known to the Chair.
Anyone wishing to address the Committee on an item not on the agenda may do so during the “Oral Communications” part of the agenda.
Speakers are allowed to speak once on any number of topics for up to three minutes. For any agenda item or for Oral Communications on
nonagenda items, if there appears to be a large number of speakers, the Chair may reduce speaking time to no less than 1.5 minutes per
speaker unless there is an objection from the Committee by majority vote.
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.3(b)(1), at least twice the allotted speaking time will be provided to a member of the public
who utilizes a translator.
