The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

The RHC heard a presentation on the Quarterly Financial Report of FY 2018-19 through
March 31, 2019.
8.2 Rental Housing Committee Fiscal Year 2019-20 Proposed Budget
Program Manager van Deursen and Finance and Administrative Services Director Takahashi
presented a report and responded to questions.

The RHC reviewed and provided feedback on the Fiscal Year 2019-20 Proposed Budget
for the administration of the CSFRA.
8.3 CSFRA Annual General Adjustment of Rent 2019
Analyst Black presented a report and responded to questions.

MOTION: M/S - Ramos/Pardo de Zela - To adopt a Resolution announcing an Annual
General Adjustment of rent for 2019 of 3.5 percent.

8.4 Draft FAQ Regarding New and Additional Occupants
Justin Bigelow, Special Counsel, Goldfarb and Lipman and Program Manager van Deursen
presented a report and responded to questions.

The RHC decided to postpone publishing of the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
document until further discussion by RHC. The RHC directed staff draft limited scope
regulations regarding new and additional occupants under the CSFRA.

10. ADJOURNMENT- At 8:57 p.m., Chair Grunewald adjourned the meeting to the next
RHC meeting to be held on Monday June 3, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers, 500 Castro Street.
