1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present 5- Committee Member Susyn Almond, Committee Member Guadalupe Rosas, Vice
Chair Emily Ramos, Chair Nicole Haines-Livesay, and Alternate Matthew Grunewald
Absent 1- Committee Member Julian Pardo de Zela
Committee Member Rosas joined the meeting at 8:21 p.m.

Senior Management Analyst Black presented a report and responded to questions.

The RHC received an update regarding petitions processed to-date pursuant to the
CSFRA and the MHRSO, including an update on hearing officers and pre-hearing
settlement conference facilitators for the Rent Stabilization Program and provided
feedback to staff.

8.1 Upcoming Monthly Workshops, Clinics and Office Hours

Analyst Kennedy presented on the monthly workshops, clinics and office hours.
8.2 Set Date for Early January RHC Meeting to Continue Virtual Meetings
The RHC set a Rental Housing Committee Special Meeting for January 9, 2023 to approve a
resolution to authorizing continued remote teleconference meetings.
9. ADJOURNMENT- At 9:15 p.m., Chair Haines Livesay adjourned the meeting to the
next RHC meeting to be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. via video
conference.

SPECIAL MEETING

Rental Housing Committee will participate in the meeting by video conference, with no physical meeting
location.

Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution of the Rental Housing Committee of the City of Mountain View
Making Findings Authorizing Continued Remote Teleconference meetings of the Rental
Housing Committee Pursuant to Brown Act Provisions as Amended by Assembly Bill
No. 361, to be read in title only, further reading waived (Attachment 1 to this
memorandum).

officers and pre-hearing settlement conference facilitators for the Rent Stabilization
Program.
