All members of the Senior Advisory Committee will participate in the meeting by video conference, with no physical meeting location. Emails will be forwarded to the Senior Advisory Committee and entered into the record for the meeting. Please identify the Agenda Item number in the subject line of your email. 2. APPROVE MINUTES Recommendation: Approve the Senior Advisory Committee meeting minutes of November 16, 2022 Attachments: Minutes 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Committee on any matter not on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes. State law prohibits the Committee from acting on non-agenda items. 5. ELECTION 5.1 Election of 2023 Chair and Vice Chair Recommendation: Nominate a Committee Chair to lead meetings for the 2023 calendar year and Vice Chair to act in the Chair's absence. 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 6.1 Communications Subcommittee Recommendation: Receive an update on the work being done by the Communications Subcommittee. 6.2 Senior Center Subcommittee Recommendation: Receive an update on the work being done by the Senior Center Subcommittee. 6.3 Senior Survey Subcommittee Recommendation: Receive an update of the work being done by the Senior Survey Subcommittee. 7. NEW BUSINESS - None. 8. COMMITTEE/STAFF COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, COMMITTEE REPORTS No action will be taken on any questions raised by the Committee at this time. City of Mountain View Page 2 Printed on 1/12/2023 Senior Advisory Committee Agenda January 18, 2023 8.1 Senior Center Update Recommendation: Staff will provide a brief summary of Senior Center programming during the month of January. 8.2 Committee Roundtable Recommendation: No action will be taken on any questions raised by the SAC at this time. Approval by the SAC to agendize for future meetings can be reached by a majority vote. 9. ADJOURNMENT AGENDAS FOR BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, AND COMMITTEES The specific location of each meeting is noted on the agenda for each meeting which is posted at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Questions and comments regarding the agenda may be directed to the Recreation Division, Senior Center, at 650-903-6330. The agenda and staff reports may be viewed at the City Clerk's Office, 500 Castro Street, Third Floor, beginning the evening before each meeting.
