1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Chan called the meeting to order at 4:35 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL - Committee members Braun, Byon, Galindo, Jhin, Ma, Montano,
Motaghiannezam, Murphy, Nair, Rajasekaran, Tissera, Wang, Zayats, Vice Chair Luna, and
Chair Chan.
Present 8 - Ryan Jhin, Ariana Motaghiannezam, Jayan Nair, Shahana Rajasekaran, Ryan Wang, Meital
Zayats, Vice Chair Taylor Luna, and Chair Natalie Chan
Absent 7 - Simon Braun, Kaitlyn Byon, Amy Galindo, Victoria Ma, Leilani Montano, Nolan Murphy, and
Jade Tissera
3. APPROVE MINUTES
3.1 Minutes Approval
Approve the February 20 meeting minutes.
Yes: 8 - Jhin, Motaghiannezam, Nair, Rajasekaran, Wang, Zayats, Vice Chair Luna, and Chair Chan

6. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 Subcommittee Updates
The College and Career, Cultural Diversity and Health and Wellness, Marketing and Outreach, and
Teen-Friendly Business Award Subcommittees provided an update on workplan items.
6.2 Teen Week 2024
Committee members discussed marketing strategies for Teen Week 2024. Events are as follows: May 13:
Teen Art Showcase at City Hall, May 14: City Council Proclamation, Board Game Cafe at Teen Center May
15: Cultural Diversity Fair at Teen Center, May 16: Paint and Pasta at Teen Center and May 17:
Teen-Friendly Business Award Presentations, Teen Open Mic Night at Red Rock Coffee.
6.3 Find Your Fit: Teen Career Day
Members discussed the final details and event roles for the Find Your Fit: Teen Career Day event held on
March 23, 2024.

6.4 YAC Attack
Recreation Coordinator, Lauren Eck, provided final event information on YAC Attack held this Saturday.

Chair Chan adjourned the meeting at 5:35 p.m.

Attack event held Saturday, March 9.
