1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Chan called the meeting to order at 4:33 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL - Committee Members Andrzejek, Byon, Jhin, John, Lew, Ma, Montano, Nair, Oh,
Rajasekaran, Tan, Wazhi, Zayats, Vice Chair Luna, and Chair Chan.
Present 11 - Member Dylan Andrzejek, Member Natalie Chan, Member Naisha John, Member Sophia Lew,
Member Taylor Luna, Member Victoria Ma, Member Jayan Nair, Member Shahana
Rajasekaran, Member Kaelyn Tan, Member Kavya Wazhi, and Member Meital Zayats
Absent 4 - Member Katie Byon, Member Ryan Jhin, Member Leilani Montano, and Member Jiwoo Oh
3. APPROVE MINUTES
3.1 Minutes Approval
M/S Rajasekaran/Nair— Carried 11-0-4; Absent— Byon, Jhin, Montano, and Oh — To approve the
October 14 meeting minutes.

4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
None.

6. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 Team Builder Activity
Committee members participated in a Halloween-themed team builder trivia activity.
6.2 Subcommittee Updates
Committee members met for 30 minutes in their Subcommittees. Each subcommittee provided the entire
committee with an update on what they are working on.
6.3 Teen Week
Committee members began to plan Teen Week, held March 17-21, 2025 by coming up with ideas for the
events. Events for Tuesday and Thursday of Teen Week will be finalized at the next meeting and
committee members will sign up to help plan one of the five events.

6.4 Youth Advisory Committee Social
City staff shared information on the upcoming YAC Social, a yearly event hosted by the California Park &
Recreation Society Youth and Teen Recreation Services Committee. The event will be held on Saturday,
Nov. 2, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Los Altos Community Center.
7. COMMITTEE/STAFF COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, COMMITTEE REPORTS
None.
8. ADJOURNMENT
Chair Chan adjourned the meeting at 5:33 p.m.

6.1 Team Builder Activity
Committee members will participate in a Halloween-themed team building activity.
6.2 Subcommittee Updates
The DEI, Health and Wellness, College and Career, and Outreach/Collaboration Subcommittees will
provide an update.
6.3 Teen Week
Committee members will begin to plan Teen Week, held March 17-21, 2025.
