CALL TO ORDER VIce Chair Luna called the meeting to order at 4:31 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL - Committee Members Andrzejek, Byon, Jhin, John, Lew, Ma, Montano, Nair, Oh, Rajasekaran, Tan, Wazhi, Zayats, Vice Chair Luna, and Chair Chan. Present 11 - Member Dylan Andrzejek, Member Ryan Jhin, Member Sophia Lew, Member Taylor Luna, Member Leilani Montano, Member Jayan Nair, Member Jiwoo Oh, Member Shahana Rajasekaran, Member Kaelyn Tan, Member Kavya Wazhi, and Member Meital Zayats Absent 4 - Member Katie Byon, Member Natalie Chan, Member Naisha John, and Member Victoria Ma 3. APPROVE MINUTES 3.1 Minutes Approval To approve the January 21 meeting minutes. Yes: 11 - Member Andrzejek, Member Jhin, Member Lew, Member Luna, Member Montano, Member Nair, Member Oh, Member Rajasekaran, Member Tan, Member Wazhi, and Member Zayats 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC None. 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5.1 Santa Clara County Youth Networking Event Committee Member, Kavya, shared information on a Santa Clara County Youth Networking Event. The event will be held on Sunday, March 30 from 1-4 p.m. at a location TBA. Kavya encouraged YAC members to attend to represent the Mountain View voice. 6. NEW BUSINESS 6.1 Teen CERT Presentation Representatives from the Teen CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) presented their upcoming Teen CERT Academy from March 14-16 which educates teens about disaster response. They asked YAC members to spread the word about the opportunity and encouraged them to sign up to attend. 6.2 School Resource Officer Discussion Committee members and Mountain View Police Department School Resource Officers discussed issues related to Mountain View teens and learned about the roles and responsibilities of School Resource Officers. Discussion topics included vaping, mental health, and programs available to teens through the PAL program. Each subcommittee provided an update on their work. 6.4 Teen Week Committee members met for 25 minutes in their Teen Week Subcommittees. Each subcommittee provided an update on their work. 7. COMMITTEE/STAFF COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, COMMITTEE REPORTS None. 8.
