Consider Ordinance 14-O-49 amending Appendix C, Employees’ Revised Pension Plan, of the Murfreesboro City Code, to comply with requirements regarding the treatment of same gender marriage by qualified retirement plans by Susan Emery McGannon, City Attorney. 4. Michael Guyton, F.S.A., of Bryan, Pendleton, Swats & McAllister, LLC to review: a. July 1, 2014 Actuarial Valuation Report; b. June 30, 2014 Statement of Governmental Accounting Standards Numbers 27 and 67 (GASB Report); c. Planning for the requirements under the State’s Pension Law (State of TN Public Chapter No. 990, Senate Bill No. 2079); and, d. Planning for implementing GASB 68. 5. Rich Shaffer of Chartwell Consulting to review: a. Third Quarter Plan Performance, Asset Allocation, Flash Reports, and Rebalancing Recommendations for the Defined Benefit Pension Plan; and, b. Discussion and recommendation to consolidate from two custodians to one custodian for the Defined Benefit Pension Plan. 6. Any other business to come before the Committee. 7. Adjourn.
