In accordance with the Executive Order of the Governor, Planning Commission members Ronnie
Martin and Chase Salas and staff members Valerie Smith, Robert Haley, Amelie Kerr, Brad
Barbee, Anita Heck and Sharon Seibert all participated in this meeting electronically.
Chair Kathy Jones called the meeting to order after determining there was a quorum.
Mr. Darren Gore welcomed everyone to the meeting. He explained this meeting would include a
PowerPoint presentation and he provided hard copies of the PowerPoint presentation to the
Commission members for their use and records.
Presentation on sanitary sewer capacity and sanitary sewer allocation.
Mr. Darren Gore began the presentation by explaining the rationale for the Murfreesboro Sanitary
Sewer Allocation Ordinance.
Mr. Darren Gore spoke on several topics including the following:

Water Resources Recover Facility (WRRF)
2000 Sanitary Sewer Master Plan as well as 2019 “As-Is” Allocated and 2019 “As-Is”
Remaining
Permitting Trend Indicates Sewer is Undersized for Density
Resolution for Sewer Allocation
Flows to WRRF – Summer and Winter Conditions
Collection System Capacity Assessment
At the conclusion of the presentation, the Planning Commission had the opportunity to ask
questions, and Mr. Darren Gore was available to answer questions.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 3:20 p.m.
