Correspondence:
● Lovely thank you note received from Linda Robinson who helped plan an event held by the Currier Art
Museum.
Status of Renovations/Maintenance:
●New toilet paper holders in the lower level ladies room and a new paper towel dispenser in the handicapped
restroom were installed.
●I had a conversation with Jay Hunnewell about the lack of security at the rear entrance by the handicapped
ramp. He is looking into pricing to install a window pane, similar to the lower level entrance. As it works now,
you don’t know who/what is at the back door until you open it.
●I sent an email to Risk Dept. inquiring about a doorbell system for each office. I also did some research
online. My hope is to have it installed by the handicapped entrance, one buzzer for each office to alert them
they have a client/customer to let in so the doors can remain locked.
Administrator’s Report:
●Shaw’s Supermarket is our match for the Taste on June 5th! We will be open from 6-9pm with desserts. The
first 50 visitors/Taste ticket holders will receive one of Marilyn’s books free of charge. I need a minimum of 2
volunteers for each of the 3 hours. The City of Nashua has offered to provide free trolley service for Taste ticket
holders at designated stops on Main Street for the event.
● I have been working with Cail on the Festival of Trees event and plan to pass out an outline at the June
meeting.
●Cail and I had lunch with some members of Symphony NH and they have asked us to be a “house” on this
year’s Holiday House Tour! More details to follow!! The dates are Saturday, December 7th and Sunday,
December 8th.
●The Progressive Dinner event planning has been put on hold. The Nashua Historical Society is holding
elections for their Board of Directors at the end of this month. I was working with Terry Romano and she is no
longer the President.
●Renaissance Downtown’s Nashua office lease was sent to the Finance committee where it was approved and
sent back to BOA for final passage May 14th.
●Hartmann Learning Center has signed an office lease for #4. First reading will be May 14th.
Next meeting Tuesday, June 4 – 4:30pm – Hunt Memorial Building
