Regular Meeting started at 4:30 pm.-
Meeting held at The Hunt Memorial Building
In attendance: Kathy Smith, Cail Bellavance, Jennifer Hinderer, Rosalie McQuaid, Joy Barrett, Charlie Matthews
Absent: Marilyn Solomon, Frank Mellen, Tammy Crisp, Alderman Mary Ann Melizzi-Golja
Secretary’s Report:
Motion to accept the December 2013 Secretary’s Report as amended made by Rosalie McQuaid, second by Jennifer Hinderer. All
in favor. Motion carried.

Administrator’s Report, Correspondence, Status of Renovations/Maintenance Report and Events Calendar – selected highlights:
Thank You correspondence to Marilyn and Harold Solomon for their generous donation, to Kenia, young woman who
helped wrap trees, and the Festival of Trees.
Festival of Trees was a huge success!! Big THANK-YOU to Cail and everyone who participated. We deposited $4,736.51
and are waiting on additional $171 bringing us short of $5000.
The Hunt Memorial Building made a $500 retail donation to Symphony NH Fanfare, as decided at last month’s meeting.
Judy Carlson would like to rent the Hunt for a Psychic Fair.
Unit 6 has been shown to a potential renter
Review committee for the budget was done and Joy Barrett was there to answer questions.
Approximately 200 likes on the Friends of the Hunt Facebook page. We should set up a new page and direct fans from the
old page to the new.
Kathy will take down decorations and Jay will take down remaining trees and store off site.
Kathy will reach out to wedding planners and use the sign to promote events

Old Business:
Festival of Trees Brain Dump
◦ 70 people attended the Gala
◦ Suggestions:
▪ Open 2-5 the Saturday of the Stoll. Snake line to see Santa through the trees
▪ Designate Hunt as a “bus stop” for Strollers
▪ Charging to preview trees not well attended; offer free preview next year
▪ Offering free tickets to donors did not pan out
▪ Offer “Thank You” reception to donors next year before Festival
▪ Put a bid sheet out throughout the week; Gala attendees get the last chance to bid
▪ Have a Thursday & Friday night open house
▪ Set up trees week before stroll
▪ Ask donors to provide a info sheet for their tree
▪ Select another food vendor
▪ Light up the Hunt with outside lights, Charlie to investigate
▪ Tie a bow around the Hunt - Joy
New Business:
The Chair will pass our meeting agendas to Kathy Smith, who will communicate with the board. Please make copies of
these meeting related documents and bring them with you to the meeting.
Joy and other present board members thank Kathy Smith for doing a great job!

Correspondence:
● Jackson Falls Emergency Plan, emails received from Larry Hersh, Chair of Jackson Falls Board.
● Nashua Area Artists’ email regarding leaving The Hunt
●Jill Hartmann, tenant in office 4, sent an email saying the direction of her business is changing and she may leave
Status of Renovations/Maintenance:
● Jay Hunnewell, Maintenance, requested to have a key made for the Elevator Room and also a keyless entry code to give to Stanley
Elevator to make things easier logistically for monthly testing.
Administrator’s Report:
● Set up Facebook Page for The Hunt Memorial Building….Please “like” our page!
● FOXNEWS was here to film an interview with Senator Kelly Ayotte, which will air in February…I will keep you posted on the
date…They shot exterior photos which will be used in the intro and will be sending us a $250 donation ● The Humane
Society will be using their “Best in Show” win to host a volunteer appreciation event here on April 16 th ● Revisit finance line item
question from last month…thoughts or questions?
