CITIZENS’ COMMENTS Members of the public may address the Maritime Safety Committee on matters relevant to the Committee for up to three (3) minutes. Time may not be yielded to another speaker. In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Chairman and Committee members may not discuss or take action on matters not posted on the agenda. Comments should be directed to the Committee as a whole. SUB COMMITTEE REPORTS 1) AIDS TO NAVIGATION - Review of all Aids to Navigation and needed maintenance. 6. NEW BUSINESS 1) CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION – To approve the meeting minutes of June 2026. 2) DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION – Consideration of installing additional wildlife warning signs around the lagoon and creek. 3) DISCUSSION – Presentation and discussion regarding a proposed Voluntary Vessel Safety Check Day in partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. 4) DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION – Consideration of installing two Marine Safety Information Bulletin Boards. 5) SPECIAL RECOGNITION – Recognition of outgoing Board member Jim Stoa for his service and contributions. 7.
