MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING BOARD OF MAYOR AND BURGESSES DECEMBER 18, 2013 1. Mayor Robert A. Mezzo called the special meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with the following in attendance: BURGESSES: PRESS: T. K. Rossi R. Neth, absent L. Marshall M. Bronko, arrived 6:10 p.m. A. Olbrys R. Burns . P. Scully, Sr RESIDENTS: None C. Ernsky, arrived 6:05 p.m. R. Vitale L. Jackson, absent DEPARTMENT HEADS: OTHERS: R. Butler, Jr., Controller J, LaCharity, Chapter 90 J. Lawlor, Human Resources Director L. Sheedy, Chapter 90 2. Mayor Mezzo led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. 3. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Scully to recess to Executive Session at 6:01 p.m. for discussion on the following: Collective Bargaining (Chapter 90) inviting in Human Resources Director John Lawlor and Controller Robert W. Butler, Jr. Mayor Mezzo reconvened the meeting at 6:39 p.m. 4. The following motion emanated from Executive Session. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Scully that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses authorize Mayor Mezzo to enter into an agreement between the Borough of Naugatuck Supervisors, Chapter 90, S.E.I.U., Local 2001 and the Borough of Naugatuck dated July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016. 5. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Scully to adjourn the meeting at 6:41 p.m. A digital recording of this meeting is available in the office of the Borough Clerk for further review.
