MINUTES PUBLIC HEARING BOARD OF MAYOR AND BURGESSES SEPTEMBER 2, 2014 1. Mayor Robert A. Mezzo declared the Public Hearing open at 6:22 p.m. with the following in attendance: BURGESSES: PRESS: T. K. Pugliese, Naugatuck Economic Development CEO 2. Mayor Mezzo led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. 3. Mayor Mezzo announced that the public hearing is for the purpose of considering the proposed repeal of Ordinance #49 Chapter 15 – Planning, Article VII – Regional Council of Elected Officials, Sections 15-134 – 15-136 and the proposed adoption of Ordinance #127 Chapter 15 – Planning, Article VII – Ordinance Regarding Adoption of Connecticut General Statute §§4-124i – 4-124p Pertaining to Creating and Joining the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments, Sections 15-134 – 15- 140. Legal Notice of this hearing has been published in the Republican American Newspaper on August 31, 2014. Mayor Mezzo stated there will be a recording of the public hearing and everyone will be given an opportunity to speak. Mayor Mezzo asked for comments from the public after stating their name and address for the record. 4. Public Comment No one from the public voiced their opinion regarding the proposed ordinance. 5.
