BOARD OF MAYOR AND BURGESSES
JANUARY 7, 2020
1. Mayor “Pete” Hess declared the public hearing to order at 7:21 p.m. with the following in
attendance:

2. Mayor Hess announced the Public Hearing is to discuss the proposed revision to the
Naugatuck Littering Ordinance. Legal Notice of this hearing has been published in the
Republican American Newspaper on January 5, 2020.
Mayor Hess stated there will be a recording of the public hearing and everyone will be
given an opportunity to speak after stating their name and address for the record.
3. Burgesses had comments and concerns regarding the latest revision to the Naugatuck
Littering Ordinance. Mayor Hess instructed them to email their comments to Attorney
Fitzpatrick for consideration and/or inclusion into the next revision to the Naugatuck
Littering Ordinance.
4. Public Comment – None
5. Mayor Hess declared the public hearing shall remain open and be continued on February
4, 2020 at 6:45 p.m.
A digital recording of this meeting is available in the office of the Borough Clerk for
further review.

2. Mayor Hess will announce that the Public Hearing is to discuss the proposed revision to
the Naugatuck Littering Ordinance. Legal Notice of this hearing has been published in
the Republican American Newspaper on January 5, 2020.
Mayor Hess will state there will be a recording of the Public Hearing and everyone will
be given an opportunity to speak.
Mayor Hess will ask for comments from the public after stating their name and address
for the record.
