Mayor N. Warren “Pete” Hess will call the special meeting to order at p.m. 2. Motion by Burgess that the tax rate for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 on the Borough of Naugatuck Grand List of October 1, 2022, as amended by the Board of Assessment Appeals, be and hereby is laid at Mills on the Dollar, due and payable 50% July 1, 2023, 50% January 1, 2024 on real estate tax and personal property tax over $100.00. All real estate and personal property tax bills $99.99 or less will be due and payable July 1, 2023. Motor vehicle taxes are hereby laid at Mills on the Dollar, due and payable 50% July 1, 2023, 50% January 1, 2024 on motor vehicle taxes over $100.00.
