Personnel Committee The Personnel Committee will meet at the City of Nekoosa Office Location & Address: Council Chambers, 951 Market St. Nekoosa, WI 54457 Time: Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, at 5:30 P.M. Citizen Comment During the Citizens Comment period of the agenda, the Committee welcomes comments from any city resident on any item not on the agenda. Please know that pursuant to State law the Committee members cannot engage in conversation with you but may ask questions. The Committee may refer the item to staff, a standing committee, or a future meeting for discussion and possible action. Each person wishing to speak will have up to 3 minutes to speak. If you wish to speak, we ask that you submit a card to the secretary or clerk providing your name, address, and topic for discussion. The Committee will also take comments from the public on agenda items as called by the Chair. Please note that once the City of Nekoosa Public Safety Committee begins discussion on an agenda item no further comment will be allowed from the public on that issue. 4. The Personnel Committee will adjourn to Closed Session pursuant to State Statute 19.85(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. a. Discussion of former City Clerk benefit payout b. Discussion of Fire Chief Retirement contribution c. Discussion of City Treasurer vacation schedule It is possible that the members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the Common Council.  5. Committee may go into OPEN SESSION pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(2) to make possible recommendations on matters discussed in Closed Session. 6.
