MINUTES OF THE NEW BRUANFELS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING OF MONDAY, JUNE 27, 2016 The City Council of the City of New Braunfels, Texas, convened in a Special Session on June 27, 2016, at 4:15 p.m. City Councilmembers present were: Present 7 - Mayor Barron Casteel, Councilmember Ron Reaves, Councilmember George Green, Councilmember Justin Meadows, Councilmember Chris Monceballez, Councilmember Leah García, and Mayor Pro Tem Wayne Peters City Staff present were: City Manager Robert Camareno, Assistant City Manager Kristi Aday, City Attorney Valeria Acevedo, City Secretary Patrick Aten, Airport Director Lenny Llerena, Capital Programs Manager Bryan Woods, Public Works Director Greg Malatek, and City Engineer Garry Ford. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Barron Casteel in the New Braunfels Municipal Building City Council Chambers at 4:17 p.m. 1 WORKSHOP A) Presentation and discussion regarding the New Braunfels Utilities Aquifer Storage Recovery Project at the New Braunfels Regional Airport. Mayor Casteel read the aforementioned caption. NBU Executive Director of Operations Doug Draeger and NBU Chief Engineer of Water Systems Ian Taylor, presented the item. Tony Pizzuti, Len Gilpin, Cheryl Gilpin, and Bob Wolf spoke regarding the item.
