MINUTES - FINAL OF THE NEW BRAUNFELS RIVER ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING OF THURSDAY, JUNE 16, 2022 AGENDA 1. CALL TO ORDER Chairman David Davenport called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Approval of River Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes for April 21, 2022, and Joint Meeting with the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Meeting for May 10, 2022. The meeting minutes from the April 21, 2022 River Advisory Committee Meeting and the May 10, 2022 Joint River Advisory Committee with Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Meeting were motioned for approval by Mr. Scott Roots and seconded by Mr. Chris Werk. The minutes were approved unanimously. 3. CITIZENS' COMMUNICATIONS This time is for citizens to address the Committee on issues and items of concerns not on this agenda. There will be no Committee action at this time. There was no citizens’ communication. 4. BOND ADVISORY COMMITTEE UPDATE None Provided at this meeting - The BOND Advisory Committee will not be meeting this summer, so Heather Harrison will return to give the RAC another update after the BOND Advisory Committee resumes meeting in September. 6. STAFF REPORT May River Operations Update Amy Niles reported updates on river flow and average float times, resident parking numbers, resident pass numbers, parking numbers, river related police activity – a suggestion was made to determine if citation collection information could be obtained from Municipal Court. The Police Department indicates they will begin shift their start times due to increased float times. 6.
