NEW PHILADELPHIA AIRPORT COMMISSION MEETING John Knisely Municipal Centre Tuesday March 12, 2024 IN ATTENDANCE: Bob Bedard , Brian Marsh, Dan Lanzer , Jennifer James , Josh Limbacher , Mike Walker, Red Hvizdos, Larry Lowdermilk, and Yamini Gowda. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:03 pm by Bob Bedard Quorum was not met. 1. A motion was made by Dan Lanzer and seconded by Brian Marsh to approve the February 13, 2024 and February 26, 2024 meeting minutes. The motion passed. 2. Reports a. Restaurant – Larry Lowdermilk reported that gross sales for January 2024 was $66,542.83. We received a check for $1,888.27. b. Airport Manager – i. Monthly Cash Flow – Larry Lowdermilk reported that 1,723.27 gallons 100 LL sales and 633.51 gallons Jet A were purchased in February. Hangar rent totals $3,320.00 maintenance fees were collected for $600.00 and the courtesy care was used 12 times. ii. Monthly Safety Inspection – lights were checked, no major repairs were made, and hangar work is scheduled. c. Financial Report – Larry Lowdermilk reported that the end of February 2024 cash balance was $57,059.47. i. Airport Maintenance - Equipment Acct 101-2100-5-3501 Balance $6,044.25. Airport Maintenance – Facilities Acct 101-2100-3502 Balance $5,000.00. General Fund Monies Airport Consulting Services Acct 475-75005-3402 Balance $14,221.28 Airport Capital Improvement - Hangar Maintenance Fee Acct 475-7500-5-3501 Balance $7,500.00 Airport Capital Improvement – Airport Maintenance 475-7500-5-3502 Balance $7,500.00 Grants City Share Airport Capital Improvement –Acct 475-7500-5-5900 Balance $17,500.00 Airport Capital Improvement – Acct 475-7500-5-5910 Balance $0.00 d. Michael Baker International (MBI)  i. Task Order #12 – Grant closeout submitted to FAA for review ii. Task Order #1 – FAA Grant received on August 24th, 2023. Tentative start in spring of 2024. Started receiving project submittals. iii. Task Order #3 – 2024 Grant Administration. City signed contract. Fully executed contract to be returned to the city by end of March. iv. Miscellaneous – FAA FY2024 entitlement funds $150,000.00 to be carried over to FY 2025. FAA grant for Hangar design (BIL/AIG Funded) needs to be submitted by July 2024.
