Carried (4 yes, 0 no) Consent Agenda Items- Motion made by Jason Casey 2nd by Chad Neitzel to approve minutes from the January 14 meeting Carried (4 yes, 0 no) Motion by Jody Wynnemer to approve January 2022 payables, 2nd by Jason Casey. Carried (4 yes, 0 no) Public Comments Petitions & Requests - none Reports 1. NR Care Center Report – • Dave Dunn. Motion to accept Pat Darcy to the Care Center board by Loren Skelton, 2nd by Jason Casey. Carried (4yes, 0 no). • Motion made to accept report by Jody Wynnemer, 2nd by Jason Casey. Carried (4 yes, 0 no) 2. PeopleService Report – • Shell Johnson. The 30 year old generator is not working at the wastewater plant. Looking into options/fixing/buying new. A quote was reviewed from Catepillar for $83,416.00 for a new DG200 Natural Gas Model. • Motion made Loren Skelton 2nd by Chad Neitzel to accept report. Carried (4 yes, 0 no) 3. Street/Water Report – • Eric Hendrickson. Water tower had some blown out equipment. He will look into who’s responsible to the equipment, County or City. Michelle will file a claim with the city’s insurance with LMC Trust. • 2022 Street repairs was discussed. A quote for Balsam Ave. So and Ash Ave. (3rd St N – 4th St. N)at a cost of $103,866.00 from Ullands was approved by Loren Skelton, 2nd by Chad Neitzel. Carried. (4 yes, 0 no) Street Capital Reserve Funds will be used. • Eric Hendrickson discussed the need to possibly trade in the Gator used at Legion Field. A motion made by Chad Neitzel and seconded by Loren Skelton was to trade the Gator in for new one at a cost of $6,950.00. Check into extended warranty. Carried (4 yes, 0 no) • Concession stand roof at St. Olaf needs fixing. Tabled until next meeting. • Motion to accept Street/Water report by Loren Skelton, 2nd Chad Neitzel. Carried. (4 yes, 0 no) Unfinished Business 1. VEBA benefit was discussed. The city will continue the $1600 annual benefit to employees who wish to participate in the Health Insurance Plan offered by the city as stated in the Employee Policy and will be reviewed annually by the City Council. Motion to approve by Jason Casey, 2nd Jody Wynnemer.. Carried (4 yes, 0 no) 2. Table approval of the Revenue report due to lack of accuracy. Motion by Loren Skelton, 2nd Chad Neitzel, Carried (4 yes, 0 no New Business 1. Motion to approve rental license for Apt. 1 at 114 N. Broadway by Loren Skelton, 2nd Chad Neitzel. Carried (4 yes, 0 no) 2. Approve City Wide garage sales for April 30th and Spring Clean-up for May 7th by Loren Skelton, 2nd Chad Neitzel. Carried (4 yes, 0 no). 3. Discussion on Lifeguards and Concession Stand at St. Olaf. Ads have been placed in the paper and information sent to the school. 4. Discussion on the St. Olaf Lake Concession Stand. An ad will be placed 5. Motion by Jason Casey to continue Administrator’s Insurance until the end of April and then discuss, 2nd by Chad Neitzel. After discussion, this motion was rescinded by Jason Casey. Adjournment – Motion for adjournment made by Loren Skelton, 2nd Chad Neitzel.
