ADJOURNMENT  Airport Commission Meeting Minutes 6:00 PM - Tuesday, August 19, 2025 Council Chambers The Airport Commission of the City of New Richmond was called to order on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 6:00 PM, in the Council Chambers, with the following members present: PRESENT: Craig Kittel, Mary Hailey, Kirk Hexum, Josh Ulrich, Lucian Banitz, Mike Montello ABSENT: Matt Brotzler OTHERS Noah Wiedenfeld, Rae Ann Ailts, Mike Demulling, Kristy Johnson PRESENT: CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL ADOPTION OF AGENDA Craig Kittel made a motion to adopt the Agenda as presented. Mary Hailey seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Mary Hailey made a motion to approve the Minutes from the July 16, 2025 Airport Commission meeting. Josh Ulrich seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. AIRPORT UPDATE Mike Demulling shared some airport updates with the commission which included fence/security gate projects, final inspection for the South hangar is good to go from the DNR and a meeting was had with SEH on the Northeast hangar area, which looks like it will cost significantly less than anticipated. AIRPORT BUDGET Mike Demulling presented the additional details regarding donated equipment, labor, services and supplies that are not normally included in the annual airport operating budget. The significant amount of donations are the direct result of the airport trying to stay within its operating budget over the past decades and the overwhelming generosity of the airport employees, volunteers and users. Staff are looking at identifying some other revenue sources and will report back to the Commission. REQUEST FOR HANGAR SPACE: LOT 24-2 BILLY KAYE Airport Commission Meeting August 19, 2025 Application not received - No Discussion COMMUNICATION AND MISCELLANEOUS The new sign will be going up this week at the South end of the airport. The next Airport Commission meeting is scheduled for October 15. ADJOURNMENT Mary Hailey made a motion to adjourn at 6:51pm. Lucian Banitz seconded the motion. Carried unanimously.
