ADJOURNMENT  Airport Commission Meeting Minutes 6:00 PM - Tuesday, November 4, 2025 Council Chambers The Airport Commission of the City of New Richmond was called to order on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM, in the Council Chambers, with the following members present: PRESENT: Craig Kittel, Mary Hailey, Matt Brotzler, Lucian Banitz, Mike Montello ABSENT: Kirk Hexum, Josh Ulrich OTHERS Mike Demulling, Kristy Johnson PRESENT: CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL ADOPTION OF AGENDA Craig Kittel made a motion to adopt the Agenda as presented. Mary Hailey seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Craig Kittel made a motion to approve the minutes from the August 19th Airport Commission meeting. Lucian Banitz seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. LEASE ACTIVITY Mike Demulling shared with the commission two hangars that sold since the last meeting: Hangar 15-6 on September 25th from American Aviation to Big J Leasing LLC and Hangar 9-1 on September 29th from Steve Foster to Layton Henderson. AIRPORT UPDATE Mike shared that the master plan is on hold until the FAA approves the forecast data. Once approved, SEH will develop a capital improvement plan covering the next 20 years. A final phase meeting will occur in late winter or early spring. The northeast building area planning is nearing 90% - we expect the project to be bid in March or April of next year. Taxiway alpha reconstruction planning is underway. SEH is updating the airport layout plan to reflect taxiway removal, taxiway realignments and taxiway widening. Airport Commission Meeting November 4, 2025 The airport received a grant from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act funding pool. A portion was allocated to cover costs associated with the south hangar reconstruction project. The remainder will be used for future projects. Westwood is also in the initial stages of designing the fence and gate project at the airport. COMMUNICATION AND MISCELLANEOUS The annual NR Airport Christmas party is Friday, December 5th from 5pm-8pm. MaryKay Rice attended the Wisconsin Aviation Conference in LaCrosse last month and Robert Rice attended the Airport 101 training session in Mosinee in September. The meeting for next quarter will be after the master plan meeting - hoping for March 2026. ADJOURNMENT Mary Hailey made a motion to adjourn at 6:20pm. Craig Kittel seconded the motion.
