Call to Order Meeting was called to order by Chair LaCourse. 2. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Eric Warmka and seconded by Scott Windschitl to approve the March 15, 2023 meeting minutes. All ayes and carried. 3. Discussion 3.1 Ridership Report. April 218 rides, 24 from the three Saturdays so far. Less repeat riders in a single day compared to when rides were free. 3.2 Fare Feedback. Good feedback, no issues to date. Veterans’ free ridership is working well with their ID. 3.3 Saturday Usage. 46 in March and 24 so far in April (10:00 am to 2:00 pm hours). 3.4 E-Scooter Discussion. New supplier this year. Rules have been relaxed as far as drop off locations. Hoping that scooters will be placed at bus stop locations. Less scooters with the new supplier. 3.5 Permanent Signage. Still temporary signage. City uses MR Signs as supplier for City signs, Pat could discuss with MR Signs on anticipated lead times. Will be future discussions once the route is finalized for permanent signs. 3.6 Other Discussion. Some discussion on stop usage. Future discussion will be needed once we get to the point where final adjustments are needed. Nate discussed that the bus does have a lift and can accommodate scooters and/or walkers. Riders are aware of the fares, no pushback from fare implementation. Reminder that no service for Memorial Day. Questions on if there are any City benches that would be available to be placed at Emerson Union Apartments, Optimist Club could be a possibility for a bench as well. Comments from NUMAS House Board: Wondering Page 2 of 4 why no stop for Garden Terrace: could call Heartland Office and schedule a pickup, Signs: feel that not enough signs are present, Flyers placed on local churches bulletin boards, Larger maps to see stops better, Insert in The Journal with a large map, Brochure locations and map size within brochure, Route length which will be adjusted once we receive delivery of the second bus. Discussion on bi-monthly meetings. Consensus that we are ready to reduce the meeting frequency. 4. Next Meeting Date The next meeting date was set for Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. With no further business the meeting was adjourned.
