MINUTES Board of Trustees - Special Meeting Meeting 7:00 PM - Tuesday, September 10, 2024 Newburg Community Center, 450 W. Main St., Newburg, WI 53060 OPENING OF MEETING / CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL & CALL TO ORDER President Dave DeLuka, Trustee Mike Enright, Trustee Bill Sackett, Trustee Brooke Stangel, Trustee Paul Zimdars, Trustee Mike Heili, Trustee Kevin Kohn. All members present, 7-0. A quorum was met and the meeting was called to order at 7:00pm. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.", should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. A person in uniform should instead remain silent and render the military salute. Veterans may choose either method. (4 USC Sec. 4). NEW BUSINESS 1. Discussion and possible action on the extension of the sidewalk near Municipal Dr. on Main Street. There was an explanation and visual construction diagram of what it would look like and cost for the sidewalk to be extended onto Municipal Dr. Members of the public were given time to speak on this subject. Motion to NOT put the sidewalk all the way to Municipal Dr. Moved by Stangel, seconded by Kohn. Motion prevailed by a roll call vote of 5-2.(No - Heili & Zimdars) 2. Discussion only on the status of the Main Street Project and the remaining work.  Administrator & DPW Director Nate Wendleborn gave an update on the whole Main St Project thus far and estimated completion.  New mailboxes along Main Street and USPS concerns were discussed.  Lighting on Main Street was explained.  Main Street road usage from now until the end of the project was discussed. PUBLIC FORUM Members of the public are invited to address the Village Board regarding any topic of public concern. Members of the public are invited to address the Village Board regarding the Main Street Project. Those who wish to speak are asked to stand and clearly state their full name and address when addressing the Village Board. ADJOURNMENT
