CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL
Members: David C. DeLuka (Chair), Bill Sackett, Mike Enright, Mike Heili, Paul Zimdars, Al
Wollner. (One Vacancy).
BUSINESS
1. Performance Review and Management - Zoning Administrator.
This time is purposed for discussing the position of and role performance of the
Zoning Administrator, who reports to the Plan Commission as a matter of
ordinance but has not received formal oversight direction from the Plan
Commission in recent time. The Plan Commission may enter closed session
for such discussion for the reasons noted per statutes below. Discussion may
result in recommendations to the Zoning Administrator or to the Board of
Trustees for action.
CLOSED SESSION NOTICE: This body may entertain a motion to adjourn into
Closed Session pursuant to Sec. 19.85(1)(c), Wis. Stats., considering
employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any
public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or
exercises responsibility. The board may provide notice that it will adjourn from
closed session without reconvening in open session.
2. Central United Plan Commission Application and Building
Expansion Proposal.
Plan Commission Application from Scott & Kelli Yanke on behalf of Central
United Inc. dated 07/07/2022, regarding expansion of a commercial building
located at the intersection of Carmody Court and W. Main St. in Newburg.
Coverage of Plan Application concerns, Architectural Review concerns, Zoning
concerns, lot line and setback locations, and other actions as necessary for full
processing of the company's request to expand their manufacturing building.
It is recognized that the company desires to move forward with a builder
contract in the coming weeks and pending Plan Commission approval or
direction, the intent of this meeting will include confirming that a majority of the
villages previously outstanding concerns have been rectified through
interpretation of the ordinances and their application to the Central United
proposal, and providing Central United with a path forward to proceeding with
the company's expansion. Review and Discussion may result in overturning
prior decision-holds, making recommendations to the applicant or to the Board
of Trustees, or other permissible actions.
Note: While zoning topics will be discussed, re-zoning will not be undertaken
and is neither requested or required.
