SCHEDULED COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES OF AUGUST 3RD, 2020. Meeting was called to order VIA GoToMeeting due to Coronavirus by Mayor Patrick M. Cadle at 7:00pm. Bob Shepherd did a good job cutting the area. Simonds power building goes out for bid next week. Bid opening will be August 26th in the PM. No word from Miller construction on when the salt bin will start. They are waiting on materials. Paving biddings goes out next week also and bid opening is August 26 th in AM. We completed the notice to proceed with Sheckler Construction for lowering of the water lines at the rail spur. Quicksall is planning the boat ramp and parking with a completion date of next spring. Durr Tree Service completed their tree cutting for the Village and took care of a few extra as well. Met with Mayors Association and exchanged ideas on how to spend Cares Act money. Lisa and Mayor are both out remaining of the week. OLD BUSINESS: Approval of North Point estimate for additional testing at landfill- tabled. Motion to accept counter offer of $57,500 for Systems 3 building by Allen Collins, and seconded by David Shepherd.
