SCHEDULED COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 15, 2021 Meeting was called to order by Mayor Patrick M. Cadle at 7:00pm. They are looking to appoint zoning board of appeals. Thanked Rotary Club and Mr. Heller for donating money for shelters. Boat ramp and parking lots had a lot of improvements. PARK/POOL: N/A LEGAL COUNSEL- BOB STEPHENSON: Absent MAYOR: EPA called us, we are getting a grant to help us with the waste removal for Simonds. Met with an engineer and walked around downtown with him. Moving brush back and placing stanchions in the entryway of the walking trails is a good idea for the Simonds-Heller Park. NEW BUSINESS: 1st Reading of Ordinance 25-2021 Setting Rate of pay for 2022 for employees. 1st reading of Ordinance 26-2021 2022 Permanent Annual Appropriations Discussed idea of 3-hour parking on Main St; all businesses are in favor except for 1. Motion to authorize 3-hour parking on Main St. (Bridge to River) brought forward by Allen and seconded by Jim. Jim seconded it. Heather said that she agrees with this but is still going to vote no as a voice for the residents against it.
