COMMITTEE REPORTS BUILDINGS & GROUNDS- CHAIRPERSON DAVID SHEPHERD: Met this evening and discussed zoning and strategic commission. David will work on getting a zoning officer. Had a meeting with architect on New Administration Building. SEWER & PUBLIC WORKS & COMMUNITY EVENTS- CHAIRPERSON JAN MCCUNE: Is working on a list of community events to reach out to & offer village’s help. FINANCE & LONG-TERM PLANNING- CHAIRPERSON ALLEN COLLINS: Nothing to report. STREETS, SIDEWALKS & RECREATION- CHAIRPERSON JAY LAMBES: Absent PUBLIC SAFETY & PUBLIC RELATIONS CHAIRPERSON MICHAEL WISE: Voiced concerns about resident complaining about cars going too fast on Edgewood Dr. LEGISLATION & PERSONNEL- CHAIRPERSON SUSAN LITTLE: Is watching federal and state legislation. DEPARMENT REPORTS: STREET: Absent CEMETERY: Absent POLICE DEPARTMENT- CHIEF HOLLAND: Absent FISCAL OFFICER- LISA STITELER: 2017 Dump truck loan is paid off. January end of month is $5,989,731.73. Working on finishing up 5-year capital improvement plan. Safety congress 3-9th or 3-10th. Received $1k grant for safety from insurance company. WATER/WASTE-WATER – JARED MCFARLAND: Absent EMERGENCY SERVICES: NERS- Nothing TRI COUNTY- Met last Thursday. 66 runs in Newcomerstown PARK/POOL: N/A LEGAL COUNSEL- BOB STEPHENSON: Nothing to report MAYOR: • Talked about rainstorm problems that we need to address. • Had preconstruction meeting for 2021 paving project. Estimated start date is 3-1-22. NEW BUSINESS: 20-year contract with the Senior Citizen Center expires this year. OLD BUSINESS: We need to prepare a resolution for 3-hour parking on Main Street before police can enforce. OTHER BUSINESS: none SCHEDULE COMMITTEE MEETINGS: Finance meeting is 3-1-22 at 10 am. Safety meeting is 3-7-22 at 6:30 pm AUDIENCE: Eric Webb voiced concerns about issues of high water around his house.
