POLICE DEPARTMENT: Chief Kennedy has started, has been busy getting started.
FISCAL OFFICER- LISA SPILLMAN: Received a new sign for Morris Crossing today. She designed
and ordered new department signs for WTP/WWTP, Water Office and a new welcome sign to
the town. She is working on a splash pad donor sign for the park/pool. She’s meeting with
spectrum next week to review phones and get internet at the park. There’s a new safety
software we will be training with. Gas pumps for employees are up and running.
WATER/WASTE-WATER – JARED MCFARLAND:
April 26th is the projected day that the College St sewer project will start and is estimated to go
through to the 18th of July.
Requested to purchase a Caterpillar Mini Excavator Model #305 for $86,959, the trailer -
$15,368.40 and Track Load M #265 XPS $89,954. Jay forwarded the motion and David seconded
the purchase.

Jan. This agreement states inmates from our Village will be housed at the Tuscarawas County
jail for $90 a day. See attachment for details

08-25 Resolution amending 20-24, 2025 annual appropriations and declaring an emergency
(this is for the N College sewer extension project. It was budgeted in 2024 and the project
wasn’t approved until 2025 so we need to appropriate it for the 2025 budget. Motion to
approve the resolution made by Jay and seconded by David.
