CITY OF NEWPORT, KY SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Monday, June 18, 2021 MINUTES CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL The meeting was called to order by Mayor Guidugli at 12:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose room of the Newport Municipal Building at 998 Monmouth Street. In attendance: Commissioner Ken Rechtin, Commissioner Beth Fennell, Commissioner Jerry Peluso, Vice Mayor Frank Peluso and Mayor Thomas Guidugli Jr. Also in attendance were: City Manager Thomas Fromme and interim City Clerk Joy Rovno, Commissioner Rechtin made a motion for Executive Session; second to the motion was offered by Commissioner Fennell. The Mayor called for a vote; the motion carried unanimously, 5:0. Executive Session as allowable under KRS 61.810 (1) (f) concerning discussion which might lead to the appointment, discipline, or dismissal of an individual or employee. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Commissioner Rechtin made a motion to adjourn; second to the motion was offered by Commissioner Fennell. The motion carried unanimously, 5:0.
