CITY OF NEWPORT, KY CAUCUS MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Monday, October 7, 2024 MINUTES Call to Order: Mayor Guidugli Jr. called the caucus meeting to order on October 7, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Newport Municipal Building, 998 Monmouth Street. In attendance were: Commissioner Radwanski, Commissioner Smith-Morrow, Commissioner Rechtin, Vice Mayor Fennell, Mayor Guidugli Jr., Assistant City Manager John Hayden, City Attorney Daniel Braun, Police Chief Christopher Fangman, Fire Chief Frank Peluso, and City Clerk Tiffany Myers. Presentation  David Andre with GoZero gave a presentation on composting. PUBLIC FORUM AND COMMENTS  Steve Megerle stated he has been trying to get a COA approved since September, but the HP Board has canceled twice due to lack of quorum. This has held up construction on his property. He gave the Board a few options to consider to help speed up his COA request. Adjournment: With no further business to discuss, Mayor Guidugli Jr. adjourned the meeting.
