Applicant will owe Borough one shade tree since two were required. 3. Discuss Coleen Shaffer’s tree at 31 N. Chancellor St. 4. Discuss distressed Pin Oak on Washington Ave. and Ch. 180 5. Inventory Philosophy: Trees are a natural resource and improve air quality, lower air temperature, reduce storm water runoff, raise property values, and contribute to the aesthetics of Newtown Borough and the well- being of its residents. The Shade Tree Commission advocates for the planting and maintenance of trees in the Borough.
