An Ordinance to Rezone Properties Located at 1650 to 1654 Church Street from MF-NS (Multi-Family Neighborhood Scale) District to C-C (Community- Commercial) District. 1  November 19, 2024 PH-2 PUBLIC HEARING scheduled this day, pursuant to State Law, to hear comments amending and reordaining Chapter 41-21(a) of the Norfolk City Code effective January 1, 2025, SO AS TO Increase the Annual Fee for the Collection and Disposal of Refuse by $42.00 for each single-family dwelling unit or dwelling units in multiple residences not exceeding four (4) families or dwelling units, to support increased recycling costs. MOTION TO WITHDRAW THIS PUBLIC HEARING PH-3 PUBLIC HEARING scheduled this day, pursuant to State Law, to hear comments amending and reordaining Section 1 of the FY2025 Annual Appropriations Ordinance (No. 49,590), as amended, SO AS TO increase the Total Operating Fund Appropriations for the Waste Management Fund in the amount of $1,164,000 for Waste Management Recycling Costs and Amending the FY2025 budget to increase the Waste Management Recycling Costs. The increased funding will support the higher recycling costs associated with the city’s new recycling contract, executed in October 2024.
