City of Norman Bicycle Advisory Committee Minutes for October 13, 2025, Meeting at 5:15 PM City of Norman Municipal Complex , 225 North Webster Development Center Conference Room B The Bicycle Advisory Committee of the City of Norman, Cleveland County, State of Oklahoma, met in Regular Session in the City of Norman Development Center Conference Room C ( at request of City Manager), on the 13th day of October, 2025, at 5:21 p.m., and notice of the agenda of the meeting were posted at the Municipal Building at 201 W. Gray and on the City website at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the meeting. • Roll Call of Members and Visitor introductions. o EVERYONE WAS HERE Members present: Zimmerman, Prather, Minty, Warren, Cantwell, Lanphere, Wimberly, Peppler; Members absent: none. ▪ Approval of September 8, Meeting Minutes • Peppler made the motion, Wimberly seconded; motion passed unanimously BAC Member Updates – City of Norman Updates: o James Briggs, NPRD • Working with David regarding projects • Updating master plan updates for parks • Connecting with Chip about bike club o David Riesland, Norman Transportation • Bike path b/n 72th - 84th - Plans are at 90%; should be let late 2 quarter of 2026 • ACOG call for projects closes on Oct 21 i.e. solar lighting on Constitution • Fall counts taking place on Saturday o Thomas Zermeno, NPD • Reported gameday operations o City of Norman Autumn Bicycle/Pedestrian count • Fall counts taking place on Saturday o Status of Cycle Norman Brochure + Map with detailed, conclusive edit • Another version will be brought to the committee at the next meeting o Report from Sub-Committee on Potential Locations for Bollard Removal • The committee had a spirited discussion regarding Chip’s report and his reflections from his meeting with the City of Oklahoma City • Chip and David will work together to prioritize the bollards that the committee would recommend be moved. o Statement or Topics of Interest by Visitor(s) – o New Business/Open discussion November 10, 2025 – Next BAC Meeting Adjournment Motion to adjourn made by Ahmadi; Seconded by Peppler; Motion passed unanimously
