City of Norman Bicycle Advisory Committee Minutes for November 10, 2025, Meeting at 5:15 PM City of Norman Municipal Complex 225 North Webster Development Center Conference Room B 5:22 • Roll Call of Members and Visitor introductions. • Alex, Paul, Anne, Aysha, Hal,, Holly, David, Thomas ▪ Approval of October 13, Meeting Minutes. Bike path b/n 72th - 84th - Plans are at 3090%; should be let late 3rd quarter of 2026 ACOG call for projects closes on Oct 3121 i.e. solar lighting on Constitution Move to approve minutes as amended Paul, seconded Anne Passed unanimously BAC Member Updates – City of Norman Updates: o James Briggs, NPRD Not present so no Status of Cycle Norman Brochure + Map with detailed, conclusive edit o David Riesland, Norman Transportation • Call for projects closed on Halloween—solar lighting on Constitution; Robinson Street asphalt replaced with concrete • 2 miles between 48th and 72nd on Highway 9 between will let through ODOT November 20 Wrapping up design for 84th to 96th o Thomas Zermeno, NPD • If you’re getting pulled over, sorry another academy starting February—Thomas doesn’t interact directly with academy class • Football season coming to a close Guest Bart Vleugels, ODOT Bollards also came up at Edmond Bike committee If at entrance to trail they like them, on the trail they don’t; they’ve removed several ACOG may discuss at future meeting Anne Motions that BAC recommends that for future multimodal designs or construction bollards not be installed. Alex seconds. Unanimous vote. o Discussion of Bollards, Potential Locations for Removal and Recommendations for Bollard Use Related to Future Bicycle Trails.
