City of Norman Bicycle Advisory Committee Minutes for December 8, 2025, Meeting at 5:15 PM City of Norman Municipal Complex 225 North Webster Development Center Conference Room B The Bicycle Advisory Committee of the City of Norman, Cleveland County, State of Oklahoma, met in Regular Session in the City of Norman Development Center Conference Room C, on the 8th day of December, th 2025, at 5:17 p.m., and notice of the agenda of the meeting were posted at the Municipal Building at 201 West Gray and on the City website at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the meeting. Per the City Manager’s request, the BAC was asked to move to Room C to accommodate another organization. • Roll Call of Members and Visitor introductions • Members Present: Zimmermann, Minty, Lanphere, Warren, Wimberly, Prather, Ahmadi, Cantwell, Peppler • Members Absent: NONE ▪ Approval of November 10, Meeting Minutes • Due to the Secretary’s absence at the meeting, the motion to approve was tabled until the next meeting. BAC Member Updates – City of Norman Updates: o James Briggs, NPRD • Not present o David Riesland, Norman Transportation • Not a lot of bids for the Highway 9 project between 48th and 72nd; applying for grant to cover gap starting at Blue Creek; Minty asked about the Robinson project and Riesland said he would update the group in February; Zermeno asked about precarious intersections and Riesland mentioned that there should be more information at the February meeting. o Thomas Zermeno, NPD • Getting ready for playoff game; new academy; o Status of Cycle Norman Brochure + Map with detailed, conclusive edit • Nothing new to report o Member update • David will email the clerk to get updates on member terms and appointments. o Statement or Topics of Interest by Visitor(s) – • Talked about an imminent discussion with City Legal department regarding ordinances 1  • Map – The BAC had a spirited conversation about next steps for approving and forwarding the map. o New Business/Open discussion January 12, 2026 – Next BAC Meeting Adjournment • Motion to adjourn by Wimberly, Seconded by Minty, motion passes unanimous.
