Gotcha Bikes about Crimson Cruiser system and possibilities for system urban expansion Presentation from Gotcha on how the OU bikeshare program could be expanded to the City of Norman Turnkey operation – bikes, operations, maintenance (not included are stations, but hubs or approved bike racks with U lock are different – OU uses their own racks). Cost is $110/bike/month Contract covers ‘worn out’ bicycles for replacement (anticipated 10 bike frame, parts changed over time as part of maintenance). Distribution of bikes to locations – Buchannan’s is redistributing bikes (per GPS, app that shows where they might cluster); however there are options to provide incentives (e.g. $2 discount if bike is returned to a hub that doesn’t have bicycles). Don’t have to have a smartphone to rent a bike (do have to have a credit card though) Recommended to have a smooth system (where any bike could be rented to go to campus or other location, rather than two separate systems or zones) Stations or hubs could be sponsored by a business 100 bikes --$132,000 / year (does not include stations) B. Confirm timeline on Bike Skills Park design process for spring 2018 engagement & BAC responsibilities (goal timeline) Target to go to CC for approval Feb 27th; March & April for public meetings; Design in May; construction in the summer  C. Impact of updated Norman Comprehensive Plan on Bike Master Plan and the Comprehensive Transportation Plan (Angelo) Review of land use changes to more ‘urban’ and corresponding impacts on the CTP. Bike lanes and multiuse paths will be recommended for urban corridors. Comments on comp plan through March 2 – Plannorman.com D. Update on creating a Bike Map for riders to be posted on Web (Meghan and Tom): discuss 3 categories of routes CTP map passed out by James; Meghan discussed mock up of user based map option E.
