City of Norman Bicycle Advisory Committee Minutes for September 12, 2022, Meeting at 6:15 PM City of Norman Municipal Complex 201 West Gray, Executive Conference Room ● Roll Call of Members and Introduction of Visitors o Members present: Hal Cantwell- Chair George Ahmadi – OU and Bike commuter Lee Krumholz -Recreational and commuter. BikeOklahoma. Brianne Zimmerman Nathan Barron o Ex-Officio members present: James Briggs o Visitors present: Deb Kretzinger part of ECAP ● Approval of July 11, 2022, Meeting Minutes Minutes were approved unanimously at 6:32. Agenda BAC Member Updates – Hal Cantwell informed that Chris Southern has resigned and new members need to be recruited. City of Norman Updates: Work on the Constitution Avenue bike path has begun and done by end of October. Reaves Park internal road should be open by October. Multimodal path on Highway 9 is being extended Multimodal Path on Flood between Robinson and Tecumseh is being bid. ● Assignment from Community Planning and Transportation Committee Cantwell reviewed new Bike Lane Guide. Wording will be reviewed by Krumholz. ● Cantwell reviewed Asphalt Art intersection project. Both topics will be revised presented at October Meeting for approval. Next meeting will be October 10. 2022. ● Adjournment Meeting was adjourned at 7:35
