Minutes for September 11, 2023, Meeting, 6:15 PM
• Roll Call of Members and Introduction of Visitors
Present are Lee Krumholz, Hal Cantwell, George Ahmadi, Briann Zimmerman, Jim Eller
Ex-officio: Thomas Zermeno, David Riesland,
• Approval of August Meeting Minutes. Approved at 6:17 PM.
Discussion of board member absences.
Norman PD. School has started and crime is up. Started new academy, training new officers.
Norman PD has 6 e-bikes. Hoping to buy 8 new bikes. Instructor course for IPIMBA in OK in
October.
Roads. -David reported that TSET grant proposal was turned in with help from Sara. South Flood
Ave path bid will let in November-January timeframe. Two grant proposals to go to ACOG by
November 1. One is for a path connecting Griffin and Sutton wilderness. Some sidewalks will be
added. The 2 miles on Hwy 9 east of Norman from 48th to 72nd Streets are under design now.
Construction of Garner Ave., project about to reach Robinson.
Submitted grant proposal this year to Bloomberg asphalt initiatives for Acres and James Garner
Intersection for a decorative crosswalk.

Discussion on BAC working groups. We are recruiting for League BFC committee. Brianne and
George will be on it. Bike count committee also needs people.
OK bike summit coming up in October. Brochures were passed out.
New Map will be printed with TSET Logo.
Next meeting is Oct. 9. Adjourn at 7:15.
