Miscellaneous Discussion, continued:
The Passing of Tom Turner. Councilmember Holman said he noticed that one of his constituents
who he visited with often, Tom Turner, had not been by to see him. He said he checked his
Facebook page and found that he had passed away. He said he was a really good man and he
appreciated the time that Tom gave him. He said Tom made valuable contributions to Norman
and he will really miss him.
Mayor Clark said that was a beautiful tribute and Mr. Turner will be missed.

Memorial Day. Mayor Clark gave a shout out to all the milary families in memory and spirit of
Memorial Day celebrated last week. She said Memorial Day is celebrated because it gave us our
freedom and she does not take her freedom lightly.

CONSIDERATION OF ADJOURNING INTO AN EXECUTIVE SESSION AS
AUTHORIZED BY OKLAHOMA STATUTES TITLE 25 §307(B)(3) TO DISCUSS THE
TRANSFER OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 911 WEST MAIN STREET TO NORMAN
PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
Councilmember Wilson moved that the City Council Meeting be adjourned out of and an Executive
Session be convened into in order to discuss the transfer of property located at 911 West Main
Street to Norman Public Schools, which motion was duly seconded by Councilmember Petrone; and
the question being upon adjourning out of the City Council Meeting and convening into an
Executive Session in order to discuss the transfer of property located at 911 West Main Street to
Norman Public Schools, a vote was taken with the following result:

Executive Session.
